Course participants can work independently with the ME PAD Trainer without you, as the instructor, having to constantly intervene in the AED trainer’s sequence.

The new ME PAD Trainer, with its updated software, enables exactly this method of first-aid training. Without the use of any additional aids, the trainer guides participants safely through resuscitation, just as a real AED would.

You do not need a simulator or a resuscitation manikin that simulates human vital parameters. The trainer takes over guidance fully automatically. It gives participants enough time to place the electrodes and then immediately starts a preset scenario including shock delivery and CPR instructions.

Replacement electrodes for AED ME PAD Trainer

The Nellcor SpO2 patient monitoring system is a small, lightweight, portable pulse oximeter for continuous and spot-check measurements in hospital, on the go and in homecare settings. The pulse oximeter incorporates Nellcor digital signal processing technology, which provides accurate, reliable SpO2 and pulse rate values even in conditions of low perfusion and in the presence of signal interference, including patient motion. The monitoring system is equipped with an easy-to-read 3.5-inch colour LCD screen. It features connections to analytical instruments and patient monitoring systems, is compatible with the full range of Nellcor sensors with OxiMax technology, and offers a range of robust monitoring features including SpO2, pulse rate, SatSeconds alarm management and pleth waveform information. The monitor also has additional functions such as Homecare mode and Sleep Study mode for easier monitoring in hospital and homecare environments.

Carrying case for Heartstart HS1 defibrillator, red

Battery for the Philips Heartstart FR3 defibrillator. This lithium manganese dioxide battery has a standby life of approx. 3 years. In use, the battery capacity is sufficient for approx. 300 shocks.

When replacing the battery, always check the current expiry date of the connected electrode set.

This paediatric key is the secret that makes the Philips HeartStart FRx AED so cost-effective. Other defibrillators use paediatric electrodes for children; just like adult electrodes, these must also be replaced regularly. SMART Analysis: Philips has developed a technology that evaluates the patient’s heart rhythm and ensures that the Philips FRx defibrillator delivers a shock only when required. Even if the patient panics during the rescue process and presses the button too hastily, the defibrillator will only deliver a shock if it is needed.

Paediatric function:

To switch the defibrillator to child mode, simply insert the optional Infant/Child Key. The device’s pre-connected SMART Pads II are suitable for both adults and children. This means no time is wasted changing pads. And there are no additional costs for purchasing different electrode sizes for different patient types.

PHILIPS Heartstart FRx Standard Carry Case

The Philips HeartStart HS1 paediatric electrode set is used for defibrillation of children aged 1–8 years or weighing less than 25 kg. The electrode cartridge can be stored pre-connected in the defibrillator; however, it is usually kept in its packaging next to the defibrillator. When these electrodes are used, the defibrillator’s shock level is automatically reduced. The exact electrode placement is shown both on the packaging and on the electrodes.

SHELF LIFE OF THE HS1 PAEDIATRIC ELECTRODES
Due to the conductive gel layer, electrodes have an expiry date. After this date, the electrodes must no longer be used, as the gel layer can dry out and the conductivity decreases as a result. The electrodes are protected from drying out by a vacuum-sealed foil; however, this foil must not be damaged. The electrode cartridge cover provides additional protection. The HeartStart HS1 paediatric electrodes have a shelf life of approx. 2 years. The exact expiry date is shown on the front of the packaging.

USE IN CHILDREN:
These electrodes are specifically designed for smaller children’s bodies. During paediatric resuscitation, one electrode is placed on the chest and the other on the back.

Replacement set L for the AED devices Lifepak CR Plus and Lifepak CR Express from the manufacturer Stryker. The replacement set consists of a ChargePak and an electrode set. The ChargePak and the electrode set must always be replaced together. The electrode set is suitable for use on adults and can be stored pre-connected. The CR Plus electrode set for the AED devices Lifepak CR Plus and Lifepak CR Express from Stryker is suitable for use on adults.
