Using the KaWe infrared ear thermometer allows measurement at the eardrum, which reflects core body temperature almost without delay via the tympanic artery. This means that rises in fever and defervescence can be measured immediately. The measuring time of the KaWe Temp® 30IR itself is short and is only approx. 1 second.
