This is how we differentiate between private and business customers
Why we display different prices with and without sales tax.
In our online shop, we differentiate between private customers and business customers so that everyone sees the prices that apply to them. Private customers are shown all prices including VAT (gross prices), so that the visible amount always corresponds to the final price. Business customers, on the other hand, see net prices without VAT, as they can usually claim VAT as input tax in their accounting. In the shopping cart and when completing the order, we clearly display the net amount, VAT, and total price. This allows both private customers and commercial buyers to keep track of their costs at all times.
FAQ for private customers
