How do you determine the fill level of oxygen cylinders?

Cylinder volume x cylinder pressure = oxygen supply
Example: 2.0 l x 200 bar = 400 l oxygen
2.0 l x 50 bar = 100 l oxygen

Oxygen supply: flow rate (dosage) = treatment time

Example: 400 l: 4.0 l/min flow = 100 min treatment time

100 l: 4.0 l/min flow = 25 min treatment time
400 l: 10.0 l/min flow = 40 min treatment time
200 l: 10.0 l/min flow = 20 min treatment time

Filling customers’ cylinders can be carried out via the ring exchange system on a 1:1 basis (empty for full).

2 litre aluminium oxygen cylinder Type II, brushed finish, as a new cylinder for medical oxygen, with initial filling. The cylinder has an M 18x1.5 residual pressure valve with G ¾" connection thread, a diameter of 105 mm, a length of approx. 365 mm without valve, capacity of 360 litres of gas, and an empty weight without valve of approx. 2.5 kg as well as an empty weight with valve of approx. 2.7 kg.
