The Sono positioning rail for consistently soft and correct positioning of the infant during hip ultrasound.

For the examination, do not fully inflate the two large air chambers; this creates a comfortable hollow for the infant. The short air chamber is used to position the head and for stabilisation. The air chambers are fitted into a frame cover made of firm white cotton fabric – for hygiene, a terry cloth cover with a waterproof PU coating is placed on top. The cushion is soft and pleasantly warm – a good prerequisite for calming the infant and creating a relaxed atmosphere for both child and examiner.

The Dr. Winkler Sono positioning rail consists of the following parts, which can also be purchased individually: 2 rectangular air cushions 18/20 × 60 cm, 1 rectangular air cushion 18/20 × 40 cm, a frame cover for the Sono positioning rail made of firm white cotton fabric Art.No. 1205, a U-tray 40 × 75 × 13 cm made of 5 mm opal acrylic glass, a powerful air pump and a pack with 2 terry cloth covers 75 × 50 cm.
For the air cushions we use air valves with free flow, enabling quick inflation and deflation.
The air cushions are made from a soft white film with a textile embossing, easy to clean with a mild disinfectant and very hygienic.
The hand-sewn white frame cover made of 100% cotton fabric is machine-washable at 60°C.
A powerful air pump is included with the Sono positioning rail.
The terry cloth covers have white cotton terry on top and a waterproof PU coating underneath.
Recommended for hip ultrasound in orthopaedic and paediatric practices; easy to handle and a cost-effective alternative to standard rails available on the market.

Dr. Winkler Sono positioning rail with U-tray, complete with 3 air chambers, a frame cover made of firm white cotton fabric, a U-tray for additional lateral stabilisation, an air pump and 2 terry cloth covers with waterproof PU coating 75 × 50 cm.

It is used for minor bruising, sprains, dislocations and periarthritis humeroscapularis.

It is made of a textile with muscle-relaxing properties by retaining local warmth.

The orthosis covers the shoulder and arm and is fitted with a fastening strap under the opposite armpit, featuring a protective sleeve.

The orthosis provides elastic support for the shoulder joint and can be used both as an orthopaedic treatment for minor complaints and for recovery after immobilisation.

Thanks to the fastening strap with 2 buckles, the orthosis can be worn on either the left or the right shoulder. The length can be adjusted by cutting at stitch height to prevent the fabric from tearing and by repositioning the “crocodile” hook-and-loop fasteners.

It can be adjusted for optimum compression and can be used during sporting activities that overload the shoulder joint.

The orthosis is made of a three-layer laminated textile:

• Asterix - The polyamide fibre is highly resistant to chemical and biological agents, is abrasion-resistant and does not absorb water.

• Moltopren (MTP) - breathable open-cell polyurethane foam (airflow in both directions is inversely proportional to the foam density) with high moisture-absorbing properties.

• Jersey Cotone SOFT - 100% cotton or cotton with elastane - elastane (for increased elasticity).

The laminated ensemble acts as a moisture regulator: the cotton fabric absorbs body perspiration and transfers it to the PU foam and to the outside.

The size is determined by the upper arm circumference.

Pre-fabricated splinting system for quick, short-term treatment, latex-free

The pneumatic ankle brace stabilises and supports the ankle joint. The anatomically shaped side shells are equipped with pre-filled and adjustable air chambers. The air cushions provide effective compression of any swollen tissue.

The ankle brace can be worn on the right or left. Individually packed in a carton.

The Fix immobilisation splints are made of foam with aluminium inserts. This makes them bendable and radiolucent (X-ray permeable). The splint is protected from soiling by a washable cover. If required, the Fix immobilisation splints can be supplied with an eyelet.
