Defibrillators

Whether in emergency rooms, rescue services, public buildings or companies - defibrillators play a crucial role when it comes to saving lives. Choose between automatic and semi-automatic defibrillators, as well as the appropriate accessories such as electrodes and wall brackets. These devices also enable laypeople to handle them safely in critical situations. Defibrillators are indispensable for providing rapid assistance in the event of cardiac arrest and can be used in both professional and public settings.

Included in delivery:

• 1 long-life battery and electrode cassette for adults and children
• Dual carry bag, can also be used as a headrest
• Emergency kit incl. CPR poster, emergency instructions
• Instructions for use, quick start guide

Product description:

The HeartSine samaritan 350P AED offers unique features:
Compact and powerful

Portable and lightweight. At only 1.1 kg, it weighs less and is up to 56% smaller than other portable defibrillators.

Maximum protection against dust/moisture. The samaritan PAD has an IP56 rating, giving the 350P defibrillator the highest level of water and dust protection in the industry.

Durable. The samaritan PAD 350P withstands shocks and vibrations and has an IP56 rating, the highest industry rating for protection against dust and moisture.

Advanced technology. The samaritan PAD 350P uses dedicated electrode technology, advanced and stable software, and patented biphasic SCOPE* technology (a biphasic waveform that automatically adapts to patient impedance) to assess the rhythm and, where necessary, maximise effective shock delivery.

*Self-Compensating Output Pulse Envelope technology automatically compensates energy, rise time and envelope.
Easy-to-follow visual and audible instructions

User-friendly. The samaritan PAD 350P features easy-to-understand visual and audible prompts that guide the rescuer through the application process, including CPR coaching. Three large, clearly recognisable symbols facilitate the rescue process: apply electrodes, do not touch the patient, and the patient may be touched.

Operation with only 2 buttons. Only two buttons—ON/OFF and SHOCK—are required to operate the device.

Always ready for use. A system status indicator flashes when the entire system is operational and ready for use. The device performs an automatic self-test once a week.

Practical solutions for everyday use

Two components, one expiry date. The combined Pad-Pak cassette contains battery and electrodes, so only one expiry date needs to be monitored.

Lowest total cost of ownership. With a shelf life of four years from the date of manufacture, the Pad-Pak offers significant savings compared with other defibrillators that require separate batteries and electrodes.

Protection for adults and children. The technology integrated into HeartSine PADs and the unique Pediatric-Pak (infant/toddler cassette), intended for children aged 1–8 years (< 25 kg), ensure that the optimal energy is delivered.

Upgradeable on site. Can be upgraded at any time to the latest AHA/ERC guidelines.

CU-MEDICAL iPAD CU-SP1 AED Defibrillator AUTO
Accessories included with the AED:

Adult electrodes (1), disposable battery (1), carry bag (1), user manual (1)

Product description:

Latest-generation AED device – the fully automatic external defibrillator iPAD CU-SP1

EASY TO UNDERSTAND
Automatic volume
Immediately after switching on, the device detects background noise and automatically adjusts the volume of its voice prompts accordingly. Especially in crowded railway stations, at airports or in factory halls with lots of loud ambient noise, this feature can be lifesaving.

READY FOR IMMEDIATE USE
Pre-connected electrodes – cleverly stored
Already connected and well protected, the defibrillation electrodes are located on the underside of the device in an integrated storage compartment. This makes your AED even safer and quicker to use! Are the electrodes new? If used or expired “intelligent” electrodes are connected, the smart defibrillator immediately tells you what to do.

SIMPLE SOLUTION
Adult and paediatric mode
Is the patient a child? Thanks to a simple slide switch, you can quickly change from adult to paediatric mode. The device then works with less energy to protect the smaller heart muscle. Special paediatric electrodes are available optionally.

DOUBLE PROTECTION
Artefact and CPR detection
As an intelligent first-aid defibrillator, the CU-SP1 detects whether the patient is being touched by other people. In that case, it will not deliver a shock. Not only is the emergency patient optimally cared for – you, as a first aider, are also protected! In addition, the iPAD CU-SP1 detects whether you are performing chest compressions to give the emergency patient the best chance of survival.

ALWAYS IN VIEW
The clear status display – whether battery charge level or electrode status – means you can always keep an eye on the functionality of your iPAD on the LCD display! Is your device ready for use? Regular self-tests check that everything is OK. Do the defibrillation electrodes need to be replaced? The display warns you in good time, starting as early as three months before the expiry date.

AFTER USE
Storage and data transfer
The iPAD CU-SP1 stores up to five emergency deployments on an SD card. Would you like to analyse the ECGs on your computer? Simply transfer the data via SD card or via the infrared interface. With the optionally available CU-EX1 software, you can edit and archive the patient data.

ZOLL AED Plus Fully automatic, German
Zoll AED Plus can do more than just defibrillate!

The Zoll AED Plus is a fully automatic defibrillator that not only delivers a shock when required, but also guides you step by step through the CPR process. The electrodes have the added benefit of a built-in sensor that monitors your CPR technique and guides you verbally through the entire process; a metronome enables you to perform chest compressions at the correct rate, and clear voice prompts warn you if your compressions are not deep enough, while also providing positive feedback when you are using the correct CPR technique – something that is urgently needed in what is often a stressful situation.

In addition to voice prompts, the Zoll Plus AED features clear visual pictograms on the inside of the unit with LED lights that guide you through each phase of the resuscitation process. These features of the Zoll Plus AED make it an excellent choice for beginners or lay rescuers.

This AED is not only housed in a strong and robust outer casing, it is also highly resistant to contamination by water and dirt. Both the electrodes and the batteries have a generous service life of 5 years, which means you only need to monitor one expiry date and, with a 7-year manufacturer’s warranty (5 years automatically and an additional 2 years if you register your AED with Zoll), you only need to replace the batteries and electrodes once during its lifetime if the AED has not been used. All of this makes the Zoll Plus AED a low-maintenance defibrillator.

Unlike the semi-automatic model, the fully automatic model does not have a shock button. The defibrillator monitors the patient’s heart rhythm and delivers a shock when required.

Features:

Easy to use, suitable for beginners or lay rescuers
Loud, clear audio and visual prompts to guide the rescuer through both the defibrillation and CPR processes
Built-in metronome to guide the user in the correct chest compression technique
Sensor in the electrodes to monitor the delivery of chest compressions, enabling the AED to provide verbal feedback
High protection rating IP55 – provides resistance to dirt and water ingress
Daily self-test
Long shelf life of 5 years for both the electrode pads and the batteries
Defibrillator recommended by the British Heart Foundation since 2010
