Please make sure when placing your order to select whether you require an assembly service for the bed or not (variant selection – with or without assembly):

If you order the bed with assembly service, an installation appointment must be arranged via our customer support. Due to capacity constraints, a prompt assembly date immediately after delivery cannot always be guaranteed, so please allow for possible waiting time between delivery and assembly.

Please also note that the manufacturer delivers the bed “kerbside” only – as a rule, it is not delivered to the place of installation. By the agreed assembly date, it must be ensured that the bed to be assembled is already at its final location and that the rooms are suitably prepared for installation in terms of space and cleanliness.

Product description:

aks developed the SB L to XXL bed series for heavy and tall patients. The SB L model is intended for people weighing up to 150 kg who, due to their anatomy, cannot be adequately cared for with standard beds.

The SB XL can be used for care-dependent persons with a body weight of up to 200 kg and features higher end panels and three side rail bars. SB XXL completes the heavy-duty range. With its particularly stable double scissor mechanism, the heavy-duty bed easily achieves the outstanding performance of supporting patient weights of up to 300 kg.

The removable cubes of this mattress enable anatomically individual body adaptation and comfortable soft positioning for optimised pressure distribution. The advantages of the aks-varioplus

The Dr. Winkler anti-snoring chin strap was developed based on the findings that snoring is often due to muscle weakness and helps to keep the mouth closed. Hand-sewn from black cotton fabric. The anti-snoring chin strap is fastened at the back of the head with a hook-and-loop fastener. A wide elastic band across the forehead helps prevent the strap from slipping backwards.

The Dr. Winkler neck pillow fits around the neck and keeps the head softly supported and stable. The two long ends of the inflatable cushion automatically overlap – no additional fastening is required.

The cushion stays in place by itself and does not slip down. Thanks to the different heights, you can rotate the cushion and find the correct support for the head. Supplied complete with a matching removable fabric cover.

The inflatable inner section has an air valve with free flow for quick inflation and deflation.
Do not inflate the inner section too firmly; this keeps the neck pillow soft, dimensionally stable and allows it to adapt very well to the neck and head.
The inner section is made from a soft white vinyl film with textile embossing, easy to clean and very hygienic.
The hand-sewn fabric cover made of 100% cotton is removable and machine washable. We offer the high-quality fabric covers for the neck pillow in different colours and patterns, plain and paisley patterns. When ordering, please indicate your choice.
All parts can also be purchased individually: neck pillow inner section and neck pillow cover.
The neck pillow can be inflated in a very short time by mouth or with an air pump.
A powerful air pump can be purchased in our shop.
The height and firmness of the neck pillow can be adjusted individually.

With the double bed bridge, you can cover hard edges and close draughty gaps between the mattresses in your double bed. The film is placed between the mattresses and inflated to fit. Two cover sheets, each 13 cm wide, are unfolded. Colour: white. Size: approx. 180 cm long, 8 cm diameter.

The Dr. Winkler elastic anti-snoring chin strap was developed based on the finding that snoring is often due to muscle weakness and helps to keep the mouth closed. Hand-sewn from black elastic cotton fabric. The elastic anti-snoring strap is fastened at the back of the head with a hook-and-loop fastening. The wide elastic band, also closed with a hook-and-loop fastening, runs across the forehead and the back of the head, holds the strap securely and helps prevent it from slipping forwards or backwards. Helping to keep the mouth closed during sleep is also commonly used in the treatment of sleep apnoea.

Using the chin strap is recommended for patients who sleep with their mouth open and who use either mandibular advancement splints or nCPAP. In these patients, the chin strap can significantly reduce or prevent drying of the oral mucosa.

Suprima Care Sleeping Bag 4693 019

The Suprima bed sleeping bag offers maximum sleeping comfort for women and men. At the same time, the care sleeping bag is very user-friendly to handle. It features press studs on the shoulders to make it particularly easy to put on, as well as a two-way zip on the side, which, for example, makes access to a catheter easier. To prevent the patient from accidentally opening the bed sleeping bag themselves, the zip is fitted with a safety lock. Special loops are attached at the sides to make repositioning the patient easier for care staff. This also makes repositioning more comfortable for the patient. Of course, the design of the patient sleeping bag also takes into account users’ increased need for warmth. This is achieved on the one hand through the bed sleeping bag design, and on the other hand through the combination of synthetic and natural fabrics. The care sleeping bag is not a restraint, but allows full freedom of movement. Another special feature is that it is machine-washable (up to 60°C) and can also be tumble dried.
