The Dr. Winkler sleep mask is a large and comfortable mask for relaxation at home and when travelling. Wearing the sleep mask signals that you do not want to be disturbed. Lined with PUR foam and with a nose pad. The elastic straps around the head are adjustable. Outer fabric made of 100% cotton in many colours and patterns. Inside, neutral black viscose fabric.

However, the sleep masks are not only used for sleeping. They are also a blackout mask, relaxation mask or therapy mask. In long-term research projects, a wide range of applications were developed on the topics of “Conscious Blind Seeing” and “Relaxation Bridges”. Wilm-Peter Möllmann from Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Mönchengladbach gives the tips: “Let come what comes” is certainly the right way to start with the mask. And an important part of the process is how spontaneously and intensely what comes communicates itself. At first, this may simply be tiredness or hunger, or the perception of how tense or relaxed one is, without having noticed it before.

The Dr. Winkler sleep masks are hand-sewn; on the inside, facing the eyes, we use a smooth and particularly densely woven black viscose fabric. The eye and nose area is padded with PUR foam cut-outs, the outside is made of a coloured cotton fabric, and the masks are edged with bias binding.
Two adjustable elastic straps, whose length can be individually adapted to head size, ensure good and comfortable use of the sleep mask.
Washable by hand wash with mild detergent.

If you order the bed with assembly service, an assembly appointment must be arranged via our customer support. Due to capacity constraints, a prompt assembly date immediately after delivery cannot always be guaranteed, so you may need to allow for some waiting time between delivery and assembly.

Please also note that the manufacturer delivers the bed “kerbside” only – as a rule, delivery to the installation location is not included. By the agreed assembly date, it must be ensured that the bed to be assembled is already at its final installation location and that the premises have been prepared accordingly for installation in terms of space and cleanliness.

Product description:

aks developed the SB L to XXL bed series for heavy and tall patients. The SB L model is intended for people up to 150 kg body weight who, due to their anatomy, cannot be cared for with standard beds.
The SB XL can be used for care recipients up to a body weight of 200 kg and features higher head/foot panels and three side-rail bars. The SB XXL completes the heavy-duty range. The Dr. Winkler anti-snoring chin strap was developed based on the findings that snoring is often due to muscle weakness and helps to keep the mouth closed. Hand-sewn from black cotton fabric. The anti-snoring chin strap is fastened at the back of the head with a hook-and-loop fastener. A wide elastic band across the forehead helps prevent the strap from slipping backwards.

Suprima Care Sleeping Bag 4693 019

The Suprima bed sleeping bag offers maximum sleeping comfort for women and men. At the same time, the care sleeping bag is very user-friendly to handle. It features press studs on the shoulders to make it particularly easy to put on, as well as a two-way zip on the side, which, for example, makes access to a catheter easier. To prevent the patient from accidentally opening the bed sleeping bag themselves, the zip is fitted with a safety lock. Special loops are attached at the sides to make repositioning the patient easier for care staff. This also makes repositioning more comfortable for the patient.
