aks developed the SB L to XXL bed series for heavy and tall patients. The SB L model is intended for people weighing up to 150 kg who, due to their anatomy, cannot be adequately cared for with standard beds.

The SB XL can be used for care-dependent persons with a body weight of up to 200 kg and features higher end panels and three side rail bars. SB XXL completes the heavy-duty range. With its particularly stable double scissor mechanism, the heavy-duty bed easily achieves the outstanding performance of supporting patient weights of up to 300 kg.

Alma
Alma is made from high-quality hygienic plastic. It can be cleaned in the dishwasher, including the securing Velcro strap.

What for?

Whether it’s the phone to call for help, a thirst-quenching drinking cup or tissues – it is reassuring when these items are within easy reach. Other small essentials also include glasses and the remote control.

Simply and securely attached to the care bed

Alma is clipped onto the side rail of the care bed. Whether on the inside or outside – you can decide individually where to attach it. The supplied securing Velcro strap allows damage-free attachment. Advantage of the Velcro strap: it enables Alma to be fixed in the position where it is easiest to reach.

Individual fastening

The length of Alma’s securing Velcro strap can be adjusted optimally. To do this, simply fasten the Velcro strap through the eyelet on the front so that it can be easily gripped. Then pull the Velcro strap through the eyelet on the back and secure the length. This process only needs to be done once.

The Dr. Winkler Small Butterfly Pillow 40×60 is an anatomically shaped pillow for restful and relaxed sleep. The shaped inflatable inner section is the key component of the Butterfly Pillow.

The inflatable inner section is made from a soft TPU film and, unlike the Butterfly Pillow 40×80, has only one air chamber. Thanks to its quick and easy use, this pillow is particularly suitable as a travel pillow.

The Small Butterfly Pillow 40×60 is also a fully fledged anatomically shaped pillow with all the advantages of the shape-stable inflatable inner section. The central part is a dimensionally stable neck roll with a flat head support behind it. The neck roll provides good support in the cervical spine area and creates an important stretch in the back area. To the left and right of the neck roll there is a semi-circular air cushion on each side, serving as a lateral head support to keep the mouth and nose unobstructed.

In use, inflate the inflatable inner section only slightly; the pillow should remain soft. It is important that the rounded, thicker part of the neck roll lies under the neck and that the head itself lies lower. This achieves the desired stretch in the cervical spine area. The height and firmness of the pillow can be adjusted by the amount of air.

The inflatable inner section sits inside a padded, quilted fleece cover, and on top of that you also have a white pillowcase made from 100% cotton fabric. The fleece cover is open at the side where the air valve is, so you can reach the air valve quickly and easily. The pillowcase has a hotel closure.

The Dr. Winkler Centre Cushion is a pillow with an inflatable inner section for comfortable central positioning of the head and stable support of the cervical spine.

The inner section of the Centre Cushion measures 34 × 34 cm and has a hole in the middle. The height and firmness of the pillow are easily adjusted by the amount of air.
