This fascinating model of an average European adult skull can be disassembled into all 22 individual bones. In developing the model, a real human skull was digitised using state-of-the-art technology and then idealised, i.e. adapted to standard anatomy. This clearly sets it apart from almost all competing products, some of which are too small or inaccurate in their level of detail. Dimensionally stable individual parts with practical magnetic connections make handling the model extremely easy. The highly detailed bones do not need to be laboriously plugged together; instead, they virtually assemble themselves into the correct position. They are held by strong magnets and guided by true-to-life cranial sutures. This technology has made it largely possible to dispense with pin connections, as connecting pins, as used in other models, are not durable and often break. Thanks to its excellent anatomy and easy handling, this skull is the ideal training aid for osteopathy.
