Objective drug monitoring in a urine cup. Indicates either a 5- or 8-panel drug combination, or can be customised for up to 12 drugs.

Handling:

The patient provides the urine sample into the screw-top container. The “key” located in the lid remains in the laboratory. Only in the laboratory is the valve opened using the pressing key, and the test strips react. The protective film on the container is removed and any drug residues are indicated. To make tampering – e.g. by adding water – more difficult, the filling temperature of the provided urine can be checked using the integrated thermometer. Each test cup is individually sealed.

Read-out after 3–5 minutes.

Storage at 2–30 °C.

The Dräger Alcotest 7510 is a compact and rugged handheld measuring device which, thanks to its special ergonomic design, is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. A non-slip rubber casing and the wrist strap ensure secure handling. The Dräger Alcotest 7510 uses Dräger sensor technology. The sampling system has also been further developed, benefiting the measurement process. For example, if residual alcohol is still present in the mouth, the device indicates this. In addition, an integrated heating element counteracts condensation effects and temperature-controls the measuring cell. This enables fast results even at low temperatures. The device is insensitive to other substances and tamper-proof. Operation is via a three-button concept: one simple push button controls all measurements. Two additional buttons allow quick and easy menu navigation. The Dräger Alcotest 7510 features a clear, high-resolution black-and-white graphic display and a multilingual text display. Thanks to transflective technology, it remains easy to read even in bright sunlight. The display backlight also ensures that the text remains clear and easy to read even in poor lighting conditions. Three LEDs in red, yellow and green provide additional support. The device meets the highest hygiene requirements. The disposable mouthpiece is positioned in relation to the specially shaped grip area so that it automatically ensures a safe, hygienic distance between the operator’s hands and the test person. A spacer prevents direct lip contact with the device. The standard mouthpieces can then be removed quickly and easily using an ejector system. The Dräger Alcotest 7510 is characterised by comprehensive data management and a wide range of configuration options. The device records and stores a wide variety of information. Using selection lists or free text, it can be individually adapted to different requirements. The test result is always saved together with a test number as well as the corresponding date and time.
