Application:
The universal, ready-to-use disinfectant, free from aldehydes and phenols, is used for cleaning and disinfecting alginate, silicone, polyether and hydrocolloid impressions.

Application concentration:

Carefully rinse the impression material under water for approx. 5–10 sec. Completely immerse the impression in MyClean® AD for at least 10 sec. and move slightly. Remove the impression and allow to act for 5 min. Then rinse with clean water.

Composition:
Active substances per 100 g: 0.2 g polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride, 0.64 g didecyldimethylammonium chloride, non-ionic surfactants, stabilisers and auxiliaries.

Application:
This aldehyde- and phenol-free instrument disinfectant is suitable for use in ultrasonic baths. It is used for the disinfection and cleaning of the complete range of medical and dental instruments: glass, rubber, plastic, metal, porcelain, ceramic, as well as thermolabile anaesthesia accessories and rigid endoscopes.

Gigasept FF (new) is a succinic dialdehyde-based product for combined disinfection and cleaning. If required, it can be mixed with the cleaning booster for Gigasept FF (new). Excellent material compatibility, 7-day solution life. For manual disinfection and disinfectant pre-cleaning of surgical instruments and delicate medical instruments. Areas of application:

For the manual cleaning and disinfection of thermostable and thermolabile instruments of all kinds (excluding flexible endoscopes). Thanks to its excellent cleaning performance – especially in the ultrasonic bath – and comprehensive microbiological efficacy, gigasept® instru AF offers all the key product properties required for instrument reprocessing in clinics and practices.

Instructions for use:

gigasept® instru AF is a concentrate and is diluted with cold water to the required in-use concentration.

Dosage: Depending on the required level of efficacy, 1.5%–4%.

Example of use: 1 litre of a 3% in-use solution corresponds to 970 ml water and 30 ml gigasept® instru AF. Place endoscopes and instruments to be reprocessed in the gigasept® instru AF solution immediately after use. Ensure complete wetting, including for hollow instruments, and leave to act. After cleaning, rinse/flush the instruments thoroughly with water of at least drinking-water quality, preferably with sterile aqua dest. or fully demineralised water, to completely remove residues of the cleaning solution.
Do not exceed the stated contact times and concentrations. Please observe the reprocessing recommendations of the instrument manufacturers. In accordance with the KRINKO/BfArM recommendation, cleaning and disinfection must be carried out in separate steps. Not suitable for final disinfection of semi-critical and critical medical devices!

In-use life: An in-use life of 7 days applies if the in-use solution is used exclusively for the disinfection of previously cleaned instruments. If the in-use solution is used for cleaning, it must be replaced daily and whenever visibly contaminated.

Ultrasonic cleaning: gigasept® instru AF is particularly suitable for use in ultrasonic devices. The chemical stability of the product is ensured. Studies have shown that very good cleaning can be achieved with gigasept® instru AF after just a few seconds. You are welcome to request the relevant reports from us. Do not heat the in-use solution above 40 °C.
