Zoll replacement gel pads for the Zoll CPR-D training pads

Fitting the new gel pads:

1. Place the CPR-D training pad with the gel side facing up.
2. Remove the old pads. Lift the gel at the green tab, peel it off the electrode and dispose of it.
3. Remove the backing from the new gel and apply it to both sides of the CPR-D training pads.

The HeartSine™ Samaritan® PAD Trainer battery/electrode pack is intended for use with the HeartSine Samaritan PAD training device. It also works with the HeartSine Samaritan PAD training device. It is equipped with a new feature that includes a cable-winding system for easy replacement of electrodes and cables after the training session.

Battery for the Philips Heartstart FR3 defibrillator. This lithium manganese dioxide battery has a standby life of approx. 3 years. In use, the battery capacity is sufficient for approx. 300 shocks.

When replacing the battery, always check the current expiry date of the connected electrode set.

This paediatric key is the secret that makes the Philips HeartStart FRx AED so cost-effective. Other defibrillators use paediatric electrodes for children; just like adult electrodes, these must also be replaced regularly. The Philips HeartStart FRx AED uses a “key”; when it is inserted into the device, the defibrillator is suitable for children. The key can be used again and again without needing to be replaced. Compare this with the cost of replacing paediatric electrodes on other AEDs and you will see the savings.

The Philips HeartStart HS1 paediatric electrode set is used for defibrillation of children aged 1–8 years or weighing less than 25 kg. The electrode cartridge can be stored pre-connected in the defibrillator; however, it is usually kept in its packaging next to the defibrillator. When these electrodes are used, the defibrillator’s shock level is automatically reduced. The exact electrode placement is shown both on the packaging and on the electrodes.

SHELF LIFE OF THE HS1 PAEDIATRIC ELECTRODES
Due to the conductive gel layer, electrodes have an expiry date. After this date, the electrodes must no longer be used, as the gel layer can dry out and the conductivity decreases as a result. The electrodes are protected from drying out by a vacuum-sealed foil; however, this foil must not be damaged. The electrode cartridge cover provides additional protection. The HeartStart HS1 paediatric electrodes have a shelf life of approx. 2 years. The exact expiry date is shown on the front of the packaging.

USE IN CHILDREN:
These electrodes are specifically designed for smaller children’s bodies. During paediatric resuscitation, one electrode is placed on the chest and the other on the back.

Replacement set L for the AED devices Lifepak CR Plus and Lifepak CR Express from the manufacturer Stryker. The replacement set consists of a ChargePak and an electrode set. The ChargePak and the electrode set must always be replaced together. The electrode set is suitable for use on adults and can be stored pre-connected. Correct placement is indicated both on the packaging and on the electrodes.

A charging stick for the defibrillator’s internal battery. Once the battery is charged, the capacity is sufficient for 30 defibrillations at 360 joules. The non-rechargeable stick must remain in the defibrillator even after charging.

The CR Plus electrode set for the AED devices Lifepak CR Plus and Lifepak CR Express from Stryker is suitable for use on adults. The Physio-Control Replacement Kit XL consists of a ChargePak and two electrode sets. The ChargePak and electrode set are not sold separately and must therefore always be replaced together. Correct placement is shown both on the packaging and on the electrodes.
