Minor injuries and cuts happen quite quickly in everyday life and are therefore commonplace in general medical practices. Whether after a fall, or surgery, you can prevent inflammation and accelerate wound healing with the right wound closure product. Various dressing materials are available for this purpose. In the category wound closure you will find at Meddax24, among other things, absorbent wound dressings or wound closure plasters for moist wound care. Here we carry, among other things, Hydrosorb Gel, Cuticerin and Hartmann wound pads in different sizes as well as foam dressings. For the smaller dry wounds, wound closure strips are suitable for holding the wound edges together and stabilizing them. Furthermore, we have different types of wound dressing, the so-called wound closure plasters, in different sizes and from various manufacturers in our assortment.

JELONET is a soft paraffin gauze dressing that serves as a non-adherent layer between the wound and a secondary dressing. This allows an atraumatic dressing change for the patient. Thanks to the open dressing structure, wound exudate can drain easily into an absorbent secondary dressing. A special weave prevents fraying when cutting the dressing to size. Used for the treatment of minor burns, wounds with skin loss (lacerations, abrasions and skin graft wounds) as well as leg ulcers.

URGO Urgo Aphthae, liquid film dressing 6ml
Product description:

Ready-to-use liquid plaster for the treatment of mouth ulcers (1 to 2 ulcers < 1 cm per episode) as well as small wounds of the oral mucosa. Urgo Aphthen is applied directly to the oral mucosa and, on contact with saliva, forms a visible, thin and flexible protective film that protects the wound from food for up to 4 hours. The spatula integrated into the cap enables easy and quick application.

Composition:
Cellulose derivative, mineral acid, carboxylic acids, alcohol, water, flavouring, sucralose

Indications:
For small mouth ulcers (one to two ulcers with a diameter of less than 1 cm) as well as minor wounds of the oral mucosa

Contraindication:
Do not apply to: larger mouth ulcers, herpes-like mouth ulcers (many small ulcers), infected wounds, burns, deep bleeding wounds.
If you are allergic to salicylic acid derivatives, Urgo Aphthen should not be used.
Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Note:
Not suitable for children under 6 years of age.
