- Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) possible for up to 1 month. Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) generally causes faster and greater creaming, a more pronounced drop in pH, a darker colour and accelerated vitamin degradation.
- Opened containers keep in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Indications:
Enteral nutrition is generally indicated when there is no or limited ability to consume sufficient normal food, in particular in cases of:
- Increased energy and nutrient requirements
- Wasting diseases
- Loss of appetite
- Convalescence
- Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases
Contraindications:
- General contraindications for enteral nutrition such as intestinal atony, ileus.
- Relative contraindication in hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency, acute pancreatitis depending on the status. Metabolic disorders or intolerance to an ingredient contained in Fresubin Energy Drink.
- Not suitable for children under 1 year.
