Dosage:

Storage
- Optimal storage at room temperature (15°C to 25°C).
- Refrigerated storage (up to 4°C) for over 3 months possible without loss of quality; however, Fresubin Energy Drink Chocolate should not be stored below 15°C.
- Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) possible for up to 1 month. Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) generally leads to faster and greater creaming, a more pronounced drop in pH, a darker colour and accelerated vitamin degradation.
- Opened containers can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
Indications:
Enteral nutrition is generally indicated when normal food intake is not possible or is insufficient, in particular in cases of:
- Increased energy and nutrient requirements
- Wasting diseases
- Loss of appetite
- Convalescence
- Chronic inflammatory bowel diseases
Contraindications:
- General contraindications to enteral nutrition such as intestinal atony, ileus.
- Relative contraindications in hepatic insufficiency, renal insufficiency, acute pancreatitis depending on status. Metabolic disorders and/or intolerance to an ingredient contained in Fresubin Energy Drink.
- Not suitable for children under 1 year of age.
