The ready-to-use disinfectant Meliseptol Foam pure from B.BRAUN is characterised by its fast, propellant-free and particularly comprehensive efficacy. The foam is ideal for medical devices and small surfaces.

The foam has a broad spectrum of activity: bacteria (incl. MRSA, TbB) and fungi; it is limited virucidal (incl. HBV, HCV, HIV) and effective against rota, polyoma, noro and avian influenza viruses. The disinfectant foam is characterised by very good material compatibility, including with alcohol-sensitive materials (e.g. plastic surfaces of medical devices, acrylic glass, ultrasound probes, examination couches). Thanks to the option of decanting from a 5-litre supply canister, the product is also particularly economical. The disinfectant is DGHM/VAH-listed and included in the IHO virucidal list.

Heartsine Samaritan PadPak battery and electrode pads

The Heartsine AED uses a PadPak module to replace the battery and electrode pads. This 2-in-1 module makes it easier to use the AED after the AED has been used. This module is suitable for use on adult patients who weigh more than 25 kg or are older than 8 years. The battery and electrode pads are always pre-installed in the AED. This saves time when the AED is used. The placement of the electrode pads is shown on the packaging and on the AED.

Shelf life of the electrode pads
The shelf life of the Heartsign Samaritan electrode pads is approx. 4 years. You will find the expiry date on the PadPak module. Electrode pads contain a conductive gel that can dry out. If the electrode pads have dried out during use of the AED, this can have negative effects on the patient. It is therefore important that you connect an unopened PadPak that has not yet expired.
