Application:
For hygienic and surgical hand disinfection by rubbing in. Especially for all working areas with an increased risk of infection (infectious disease wards, intensive care units, dialysis departments), accident and emergency wards, outpatient clinics, laboratories.
Sterillium® Virugard is the first alcohol-based hand disinfectant that has been tested and recognised for the prevention of viral diseases (activity spectrum B).

Mandatory information:
Sterillium Virugard: Active substance: ethanol.
Composition: 100 g solution contain: Active substance: ethanol 99% 95.0 g. Other ingredients: butan-2-one, glycerol, tetradecan-1-ol, benzine.
Indications: Hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.
Contraindications: Do not use on mucous membranes. Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or on open wounds. Hypersensitivity to ingredients.
Side effects: Mild, diffuse skin irritation or allergic reactions may occur rarely. In such cases, it is recommended to intensify general skin care.
Warnings: Keep away from open flames. Do not use near sources of ignition. Close bottle after use. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 0 °C. Highly flammable. Avoid electrostatic charging. Do not touch anything with hands wet with alcohol. After spillage of the disinfectant, the following measures must be taken: immediate absorption of the liquid, dilution with plenty of water, ventilating the room and eliminating sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Any transfer into another container may only be carried out under aseptic conditions (laminar flow cabinet).
