The Mediware disposable syringes are 3-part syringes with a Luer tip.
Thanks to the latex-free silicone plunger, the syringes glide very smoothly. They feature black, abrasion-resistant graduations with an extended scale.
The syringes are supplied individually sterile-packed in a peel pack.

Octenisept by SCHÜLKE & MAYR is a particularly effective and skin-friendly antiseptic thanks to the unique combination of octenidine and phenoxyethanol. In addition to standard wound care, the antiseptic is also used for the antiseptic treatment of mucous membranes and adjacent skin prior to diagnostic and surgical procedures. Its pain-free and highly effective application means Octenisept is even suitable for infants and premature babies.

octenisept® Wound Disinfectant

Composition: 100 g of solution contain: Medicinally active ingredients: octenidine dihydrochloride 0.1 g, phenoxyethanol (Ph. Eur.) 2.0 g. Other ingredients: 2-[(3-coconut fatty acid amide propyl)dimethylazaniumyl]acetate, sodium D-gluconate, glycerol 85%, sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide, purified water.

Indications: For repeated, time-limited supportive antiseptic treatment of wounds.

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the medicinally active ingredients or any of the other ingredients. octenisept® Wound Disinfectant should not be used for irrigation in the abdominal cavity (e.g. intraoperatively) or the urinary bladder, and must not be used on the eardrum.

Side effects: As a subjective symptom, a temporary burning sensation may occur in rare cases. In isolated cases, contact-allergic reactions such as temporary redness at the treated area are possible. If you notice side effects other than those described here, please inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings and precautions for use: To prevent possible tissue damage, the product must not be introduced into tissue under pressure or injected. In wound cavities, drainage must be ensured at all times (e.g. drain, wick). Do not swallow octenisept® Wound Disinfectant in large quantities and do not allow it to enter the bloodstream, e.g. through accidental injection. Avoid using octenisept® Wound Disinfectant in the eye. In the event of accidental contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Indications: Hygienic and surgical hand disinfection.

Contraindications: Do not use on mucous membranes. Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes or on open wounds. Hypersensitivity to ingredients.

Side effects: Mild, diffuse skin irritation or allergic reactions may occur rarely. In such cases, it is recommended to intensify general skin care.

Warnings: Keep away from open flames. Do not use near sources of ignition. Close bottle after use. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 0 °C. Highly flammable. Avoid electrostatic charging. Do not touch anything with hands wet with alcohol. After spillage of the disinfectant, the following measures must be taken: immediate absorption of the liquid, dilution with plenty of water, ventilating the room and eliminating sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Any transfer into another container may only be carried out under aseptic conditions (laminar flow cabinet).
