Infant CPR manikin with indicator function
This life-size infant model is designed for learning correct CPR. Ventilation and chest compressions can be performed as on a real baby. With correct ventilation, the chest rises and falls. The correct compression depth is confirmed by a clicking sound, and the compression rate by an indicator light integrated in the model. The airways are single-use lung bags, so no disinfection is required. For group training, a face shield with filter can also be fitted to ensure protection against infection. Supplied with torso, carry bag and 10 hygienic airways.

One of a veterinary surgeon’s fundamental skills is the ability to position a dog correctly. "Rocky" was developed to teach this skill. Positioning is a technique that is required constantly, whether for neutering or spaying, for abdominal surgery or for X-ray imaging. Positioning for spinal stabilisation, dorsal recumbency (lying on the back) or any other position is possible. "Rocky" offers natural mobility as well as realistic resistance, allowing practice in a simulation environment before the trainee works with a real animal. Shoulder and hip mobility is 90°; the knees, elbows, hock and carpal joints have the same range of motion.

Simulation training pad for an implantable port
This simulator consists of a soft layer representing the skin and a rigid plate that protects the user from a possible needle stick caused by incorrect practice. The implanted port and a blood bag are not included in the scope of delivery, but can be ordered separately if required.

The model is secured around a person’s neck and chest with adjustable straps. It allows practice of all procedures on an implantable port. The fact that the model is worn by a person significantly increases the realism of the training, as it allows communication with the “patient” and enables the patient’s movements and breathing to be felt.

The dog neutering simulator enables students and instructors to practise dog castration and, with a small replacement set, practise again and again!

This model includes replaceable skin and replaceable testicles. Each testicle has two simulated vessels to replicate the vas deferens and vascular supply, and is covered with a sac layer to imitate the tunica albuginea. The reusable base has a raised edge representing the penis for palpation, and a tube representing the urethra. When coated with lubricating gel, the testicles can be advanced for a pre-scrotal approach. They can then be removed using either a closed or an open technique. The skin incision can be closed after the procedure.

Skin Suture Trainer
This practice model allows surgical suturing to be practised again and again. The needle passage behaviour of the artificial skin closely replicates the real thing. Various skin suture techniques (simple interrupted sutures, backstitch sutures and intradermal sutures) can be practised on this model. The material is highly durable; even with frequent use, the wound edges of the artificial skin remain largely intact. This ensures a long service life of the training pad and keeps the cost per student low while maintaining the highest possible training quality. Includes holder with suction cups. In developing this lifelike replica of a human skull, a real human skull was digitised using state-of-the-art technology and then idealised specifically for medical training purposes. This means the skull has been perfectly adapted to the anatomical ideal; all anatomical details and structures are present and correspond to the textbook. The modular system enables the following techniques:
Venipuncture of the lateral saphenous vein in the lower leg, as well as intramuscular and subcutaneous injections in the thigh.
Each complete model includes: a lower-leg venipuncture / IV trainer, a thigh injection trainer, an IV line and an IV bag pre-filled with our Sim Blood.

The soft material moves with the body and can also be applied over joints. If the adhesive strength of the wound decreases, it can be reactivated simply by wiping the back with medical alcohol. For longer-term attachment during a course, we recommend a suitable skin adhesive.

Training arm for intravenous injection
The injection model is intended to give trainee doctors and medical support staff the opportunity to practise intravenous injection techniques. The model is made of a soft plastic with a replaceable skin and a replaceable injection site in the crook of the elbow, in which the median cubital vein (V. mediana cubiti) is replicated by a tube. Under the skin, the vein is visible and can also be easily palpated. In the model, the tension of the skin and the characteristics of the engorged vein are reproduced to be close to real life. The model is particularly characterised by the option to realistically apply a tourniquet to the vein and, by applying lubricant, simulate a rolling vein. Tested under harsh everyday use in the German Armed Forces. All individual parts are available separately.
