Examination lamps are used in medicine for the closer examination of wounds and injuries. Here, perfect illumination of the working area is fundamental, for example, in order to be able to distinguish tissue structures from one another. Due to the wide range of interventions in the various specialties, examination lamps require a great deal of flexibility in order to meet the special requirements. The EL 10 LED examination light from HEINE is equipped with a clamp mount for table installation. It is characterised by optimal illumination thanks to particularly homogeneous light and realistic colour rendering provided by the 10-watt high-performance LED (3,000 Kelvin, colour rendering index > 85). Result: red is red, blue is blue. Constant luminous intensity and colour rendering of the LED are ensured over the entire service life of 30,000 hours. In addition, the light offers continuous one-handed adjustment of brightness and light field.
