The needles are latex- and PVC-free, making them particularly skin-friendly and well tolerated. The needle hubs are made of polypropylene and are colour-coded. All needles are standardised and manufactured in accordance with ISO 7864 and DIN 13097. Individually sterile packed.

The Omnican 40 by B.BRAUN are single-use insulin syringes for U-40 insulin (1 ml / 40 IU) with an integrated needle (Ø 0.30 mm x 12 mm length). The thin-wall needle (in accordance with EN ISO 9626:2001) features an extremely fine 3-facet bevel and a special silicone coating. A protective cap at the end of the syringe ensures the sterility of the needle. The highly transparent barrel makes air bubbles easy to detect and, thanks to the large, easy-to-read scale, guarantees accurate dosing. In addition, the syringe is characterised by a plunger with a double sealing ring and an integrated plunger stop. The insulin syringes are supplied individually sterile packed.
