MyClean OPSept hand disinfectant by MAIMED is ideal for hygienic and surgical disinfection for sensitive skin, as it is both dye-free and low in fragrance. The disinfectant is simply rubbed into the hands. This guarantees hygienically disinfected hands независимо of sinks and water. MyClean OPSept hand disinfectant is used in all hygiene-relevant areas in healthcare and industry, in home nursing care for the sick, elderly and infants, and in home dialysis. It also provides protection against infection in public facilities and when travelling. Full effectiveness against bacteria, fungi and enveloped viruses is achieved with a contact time of 3 minutes (surgical). This ensures that the hands are surgically disinfected. Even with continuous use, OPSept is particularly skin-friendly. Please note that the disinfectant is not suitable for mucous membranes, eyes or open wounds. There is also a risk of hypersensitivity (allergy) to one of the ingredients. The disinfectant is listed by the RKI and VAH. Tested according to the standard methods of the DGHM / VAH and EN 1500 / EN 12791.

Substance/indication group, mode of action: Ready-to-use, alcohol-based skin antiseptic. Bactericidal (incl. Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and fungicidal. Limited virucidal activity according to the RKI recommendation Bundesgesundheitsblatt 01-2004. The active substances 2-propanol and butane-1,3-diol act against bacteria (incl. mycobacteria), fungi and many viruses. The effectiveness of OpSept hand antiseptic against viruses includes enveloped viruses (classification: “limited virucidal activity”)*. *Tested against the test viruses BVDV (surrogate virus for hepatitis C virus) and vaccinia virus. According to current knowledge, the results allow conclusions to be drawn about effectiveness against other enveloped viruses, e.g. hepatitis B virus, HIV. Indications: For hygienic and surgical hand disinfection. Contraindications: OpSept must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Do not use on mucous membranes or in the eye area. Interactions: None known. Warnings: OpSept hand antiseptic contains lanolin and fragrances, which can trigger allergic reactions.
