Cutasept F skin antiseptic by BODE is ideal for surgical and hygienic hand disinfection. It is used in inpatient, outpatient and primary care settings for skin disinfection prior to injections and blood sampling, prior to punctures, minor medical procedures, catheterisations, as well as in the case of accidents and minor injuries. In addition, it can be used for pre- and postoperative skin disinfection in the operating theatre area. Cutasept F skin antiseptic develops its full effect quickly and comprehensively. Thanks to the new formulation, the disinfectant requires a contact time of only 2 minutes even on sebum-rich skin and is particularly skin-friendly. An application aid ensures the necessary cost-effectiveness.

Composition: 100 g of solution contain:
Active substance: propan-2-ol 63.0 g, corresponds to 72% by volume. Other ingredients:
benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
Indications: Skin disinfection

hand disinfection.
Contraindications: Do not use in the immediate vicinity of the eyes.
Intolerance to ingredients. When used as directed,
Cutasept F can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Side effects: Mild, diffuse skin irritation is common. Contact-allergic
reactions may occur.
Warnings: There is insufficient experience for the treatment of infants
and young children. In these cases, use
must only take place following particularly strict indication and under medical
supervision. Benzalkonium chloride may cause skin irritation. No
wetting of the skin under tourniquet cuffs. With incision drapes, wait for complete
drying. Use electrical devices only after drying.
Avoid pooling on the patient couch surface. Do not bring into contact with open
flames. Keep away from sources of ignition. When the preparation is used as intended,
fire and explosion hazards are not to be expected.
If the solution comes into contact with the eyes, the open eyes should be rinsed
with running water for a few minutes. After spilling the
disinfectant, the following measures must be taken: Immediate absorption of the
liquid, dilution with plenty of water, ventilation of the room, and removal
of sources of ignition. Flash point according to DIN 51755: 21 °C. Flammable. Any
decanting may only be carried out under aseptic conditions (laminar flow cabinet).
