Note:

Hypothermia is dangerous. It often occurs in near-drowning victims and in trauma patients outdoors. Protecting the head and chest is particularly important. With an unprotected head alone, around half of the body’s heat loss can occur. In multi-trauma patients, the chance of survival is reduced by up to 50% if the temperature drops below 34°C. If the body temperature falls below 32°C, it becomes life-threatening.
