Characteristics:
Thanks to a crêped bandage fabric and micro-dot impregnation with a latex-free latex polymer, Peha-haft offers a double adhesive effect. Therefore, only a few turns are sufficient for secure, long-lasting fixation. Even on large areas and body parts that are difficult to bandage, the individual turns cannot loosen or slip.
Dressings made with Peha-haft do not require additional end fixation. Simply press down the end of the bandage and the dressing stays in place. Peha-haft adheres only to itself, not to skin, hair or clothing.
Peha-haft is extremely air-permeable because the open fabric structure is not covered by the impregnation. Peha-haft does not cause heat build-up and is comfortable to wear.
Due to the high proportion of natural fibres, Peha-haft is also absorbent and skin-friendly.
Peha-haft is approx. 85% stretchable and can be applied without reversal turns. The dressing sits smoothly without creases and does not constrict; joint movement is not restricted.
The strong self-adhesion ensures low material consumption, as only a few turns are needed for secure fixation. In addition, the 20 m institutional pack also contributes to the high cost-effectiveness of Peha-haft.
