The 12-ply MK gauze swabs from MAIMED are used for external wound care of exuding and contaminated wounds. They are used in outpatient settings as well as on wards and in first-aid applications. The 17-thread dressing gauze is made of 100% cotton and therefore offers very good absorbency. The folded-in cut edges eliminate loose edge threads that may fray. The stretch fixation fleece from MAIMED is ideal for external, large-area and elastic dressing fixation. 3M Transpore White is a self-adhesive, white and hypoallergenic plastic adhesive tape. It is ideal for securing cannulas and infusion lines. The polyacrylate adhesive ensures a secure hold and can be removed painlessly.

Characteristics:
Thanks to the use of high-quality absorbent cotton wool and pure cotton gauze, the Eycopad eye pad is particularly soft and absorbent.

The gauze covering is closed on the short sides of the pad, which significantly improves stability. Eycopad does not shed lint and provides a long-lasting, effective cushioning effect.

The purity, absorbency and properties of the absorbent cotton wool and cotton gauze are subject to continuous laboratory monitoring.

Thanks to its good drainage effect and high air permeability, surgical gauze is still a modern dressing material. Particularly for the initial treatment of acute, soiled, infected and heavily exuding wounds—often involving considerable consumption of dressing material—the use of surgical gauze is also advisable for economic reasons. With Mullro, surgical gauze is available in a practical roll form for producing individual wound dressings.

As a universal wound dressing, e.g. for initial treatment.

Characteristics:
Mullro uses 20-thread surgical gauze according to EN 14079-VM 20. It is 80 cm wide and is folded 8 times to a width of 10 cm.

Mullro is very soft and absorbent and conforms well.

The packaging of the surgical gauze in dispensing cartons allows simple and hygienic handling.

For securing and covering dressings and for fixing measuring instruments, cannulas, etc., a wide variety of fixation tapes are required to meet different requirements in terms of indications and skin types.
Made of porous, transparent film with polyacrylate adhesive; dirt-repellent; easy to tear in both lengthwise and crosswise directions; particularly suitable for transparent fixation of cannulas or tubes, allowing the fluid level to be monitored.

Application:
For all types of dressing fixation, for securing probes, cannulas, catheters or measuring instruments in patients with sensitive skin. When applying, ensure the skin is dry and clean.

Characteristics:
All Omni fixation tapes are hypoallergenic and, thanks to their adhesive, particularly skin-friendly and breathable.

The tapes can be easily torn by hand, adhere securely, and can be removed without residue.

Omni fixation tapes do not absorb X-rays and therefore do not need to be removed for X-ray examinations.

Cohesive, elastic fixation bandages with a double adhesive effect due to the crêped fabric structure and impregnation with a latex-free synthetic polymer; stretch approx. 100%; low material consumption thanks to strong self-adhesion – just a few turns provide secure, long-lasting fixation; does not stick to skin, hair or clothing; air-permeable, skin-friendly and odour-neutral as it is free from latex, acrylates and chlorine; available in two colours.

Application:
For all types of fixation dressings, especially on joints and on round and conical parts of the body; for securing padding material, cannulas etc.; as an attractive protective cover for dressings.

Characteristics:
Thanks to a crêped bandage fabric and micro-dot impregnation with a latex-free latex polymer, Peha-haft offers a double adhesive effect. Therefore, only a few turns are sufficient for secure, long-lasting fixation. Even on large areas and body parts that are difficult to bandage, the individual turns cannot loosen or slip.

Dressings made with Peha-haft do not require additional end fixation. Simply press down the end of the bandage and the dressing stays in place. Peha-haft adheres only to itself, not to skin, hair or clothing.

Peha-haft is extremely air-permeable because the open fabric structure is not covered by the impregnation. Peha-haft does not cause heat build-up and is comfortable to wear.

Due to the high proportion of natural fibres, Peha-haft is also absorbent and skin-friendly.

Peha-haft is approx. 85% stretchable and can be applied without reversal turns. The dressing sits smoothly without creases and does not constrict; joint movement is not restricted.

The strong self-adhesion ensures low material consumption, as only a few turns are needed for secure fixation. In addition, the 20 m institutional pack also contributes to the high cost-effectiveness of Peha-haft.

The Cottonelast tubular bandage, seamlessly knitted from raw white cotton yarns, is tricot-elastic, very conformable and skin-friendly. It is used as an underlayer for plaster casts, synthetic rigid casts, etc. In addition, it can be used for dressing and crease-free covering of amputation stumps.
