For easier removal of warts, you can achieve good results with Histofreezer. Consisting of a gas spray can and special cotton wool applicators. As the gas evaporates, freezing to minus 57 °C is achieved, which is transferred via the applicator. After approx. 10 days, the epidermis discolours and falls off, while a new layer of skin has formed underneath. This bloodless wart removal is carried out with good success.

Histofreezer is the proven cryosurgical system for the straightforward, bloodless and low-pain removal of warts and other benign skin lesions, with minimal risk of scarring. Thanks to its compact size and ease of use, this treatment is suitable not only for dermatologists and surgeons, but also for general practitioners and paediatricians. The long shelf life of 3 years ensures cost-effectiveness, even when used infrequently. The compact aerosol can contains a liquefied gas mixture of dimethyl ether, propane and isobutane. With simple finger pressure, special applicators are filled with the gas mixture and, due to the change of state, cool within a few seconds to -55°C – the optimal temperature for freezing warts. No sterile environment is required, no anaesthesia, and the correct applicator size is available for each indication: small (2 mm) and medium (5 mm).

For use by medical professionals only. Fast and effective removal of lesions in your patient. Treats multiple lesions in your patient in 15–40 seconds. Treatment time may vary depending on the lesion type. Please refer to the instructions for use for information on treatment times per lesion. During or immediately after treatment, a slight burning or stinging sensation may occur, but this disappears after a short time. In some cases, blisters may form after a few days. In this case, it is important not to puncture the blister, but to cover it with a plaster. Inform your patient before treatment what to expect during and after treatment regarding aftercare and possible side effects. If necessary, treatment can be repeated after 2 weeks.
