The Dr. Winkler seat ring is an inflatable seat cushion and is used in conservative treatment under the terms seat ring / air ring / medical ring. The inflatable seat ring made of a soft PU film with a matching fabric cover is a proven aid for bedridden people and a good alternative to conventional seat cushions.

The inflatable inner part is made from a durable and soft PU film. Please inflate only to medium firmness; this gives you a soft cushion, and the height and firmness can be adjusted very easily to suit individual needs.

Supports body weight up to 150 kg. The Dr. Winkler seat ring comes complete with a fabric cover made of cotton twill, manufactured from materials certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. You can choose between two colours. A white cover is mostly used in bed, a dark blue cover for everyday use. The cushion covers have a zip and are machine-washable at 95°C.

The ring has an outer diameter of approx. 45 cm and an inner diameter of approx. 15 cm. The hand-sewn round fabric cover gives the seat ring a neutral and attractive appearance.

The air cushion has 1 free-flow air valve for quick inflation and deflation.
The hand-sewn round fabric cover is available in two colours. The white cover made from 100% cotton is pleasantly soft and intended for use in bed. The dark blue cover, made from a durable polyester-cotton blend, is intended for everyday use and for use as a seat cushion. The covers are removable and machine-washable.
All parts can also be purchased separately: seat ring inner part, seat ring cover in white, and seat ring cover in blue.
Without air, the cushion can be folded up small and is easy to take when travelling.
The seat ring can be inflated quickly by mouth or with an air pump.

The Dr. Winkler twin seat cushion is an inflatable seat cushion specially shaped for people with sitting discomfort, for coccyx bruising, after haemorrhoid and prostate surgery, and after an episiotomy.

The inflatable inner section is made from a robust PU film with two separate air chambers and a central slit. Please inflate only to medium firmness; this gives you a soft cushion and allows the height to be adjusted very individually. The 2 separate air chambers can also be inflated to different levels to compensate for bodily asymmetries.
