Chitogauze XR Pro is soft like toilet paper,
but extremely tear-resistant and does not become soggy. This
makes it easy to place the material precisely on the
bleeding site and pack it into the
wound. The active ingredient chitosan provides effective
haemostasis after just 2–3
minutes of pressure on the bleeding. This is especially important in areas
where conventional haemostasis methods such as a
tourniquet or pressure bandage are not possible for obvious
reasons.
