SMART Analysis: Philips has developed a technology that assesses the patient’s heart rhythm and ensures that the Philips FRx defibrillator delivers a shock only when required. Even if the rescuer panics during the rescue process and presses the button too hastily, the defibrillator will only deliver a shock when it is needed.

Paediatric function:

To switch the defibrillator to child mode, simply insert the optional infant/child key. The device’s already connected SMART Pads II are suitable for both adults and children. This means no time is wasted changing pads. And there are no additional costs for purchasing different electrode sizes for different patient types.
