DCT Bowel Irrigation System - closed non-sterile

To enable bowel irrigation in intensive care patients or during deliveries, an optimised bowel irrigation system is available:

It consists of the proven Economy contrast medium bag with screw cap and shut-off clamp, a sterile 50/60 ml syringe with catheter valve, as well as a rectal tube with balloon.

Use is very simple: the rectal tube can be used to introduce irrigation fluid from the bag into the bowel in a controlled manner. The bag is then placed on the floor and the contents can flow back, and the system can be disposed of. The syringe is used both to inflate the balloon and for the possibly necessary administration of irrigation fluids.
