ZEMO mobile chip card reader VML-GK2 (1+) white/silver

The mobile smart card reader is particularly suitable for emergency services and home visits. Modern, simple and intuitive operation with separate cursor and numeric keys. The designer keypad has a precise pressure point and is comfortable to use. On the large graphic display you can see the most important patient information immediately (as used for floppy disk billing). The battery status is also shown. Thanks to the backlighting, the display is very easy to read. With its slim design and rounded corners, the VML-GK2 is comfortable to hold and easy to operate with one hand. Thanks to the integrated alphabetical name search function or chronological sorting, the required patients can be found immediately. The device is particularly energy-efficient (up to 30,000 insertion cycles with one set of batteries). The VML-GK2 reads all health insurance cards, including the electronic health card. With 3 card reader slots and a graphic display, it is prepared for migration to the second stage of the electronic health card. Among other devices, Epson dot matrix printers can be connected to the VML-GK2 either via serial connection or via the serial-to-parallel adapter (not included in the scope of delivery). The VML-GK2 can also be operated as a stationary reader without any conversion. In this case, power is supplied via the PC (USB connection cable).
