Ultrasound-guided breast biopsy phantom (set with a basic and an advanced version)
We would like to introduce our new training model for ultrasound-guided breast biopsy.
Its features are:
- Fine-needle aspiration biopsy, core needle biopsy and Mammotome biopsy can be practised on the phantom under ultrasound guidance.
- The tissue of the breast phantom matches the softness and resistance of the human breast.
- Excellent image quality.
- The targets are coloured to confirm a successful biopsy.
- The targets are distributed across three levels to practise puncture at different depths and different angles.
The phantom is available in two versions:
The basic version is transparent and contains 12 hyperechoic targets, sizes 6 mm and 10 mm, blue. The advanced version is opaque and also contains 12 targets, however 6 hyperechoic (blue) and 6 hypoechoic (red) targets, sizes 6 mm and 10 mm.
