The functions of the backpack cover in detail:

Reliable in any weather

The SOS-BAG is reinforced at the bottom with waterproof material to a height of 8 cm. No puddle is too big: you can put it down in the rain without worry – the attached daypack also has this feature. 

This is important to us:

• Clean, stable stand: The backpack stands upright and stable on its own – no leaning required.

• Dry lid: Water beads off the lid; there is no pooling of water as with e.g. roll-top closures.

• First-aid kit in the lid – easy to access from the top and far away from street dirt.

• Suitable for everyday use & operations: kerb, platform, dirt track – simply set it down and the contents stay protected.

Flexible and robust professional carrying system 

The SOS-BAG holds an enormous amount. The carrying system has to match: it is length-adjustable and distributes the weight efficiently. An adjustable, wide, well-padded hip belt takes the load off your shoulders – for noticeable comfort even when fully packed.

This is important to us:

• Individually adjustable: back length, shoulder, hip and chest straps can be adjusted continuously – fits from S to XL.

• Load control: compression and load control straps keep the centre of gravity close to the body, reducing wobble.

• Comfort hip belt: wide support, sturdy buckle – transfers the load to the hips, protecting back/shoulders.

• Reinforced carry handle: grippy covering and non-cutting – secure grip.

• Mini pocket for trackers: concealed installation of trackers such as Airtag, etc…

• Robust in use: tear-resistant straps, durable seams and hardware for high carrying loads.

Modular and tidy

The SOS-BAG is divided into modules. Each pouch is clearly labelled (pictogram + text) and can be removed individually – so even under stress you can immediately find what you need.

This is important to us:

• Quick orientation:

  Large labels are easy to read even in poor light.

• Viewing windows: in many pouches you can see the contents at a glance – without opening.

• Can be used individually: remove modules, place them at the location of use or hand them over.

• Order stays: compartment structure prevents chaos; after use simply slot it back in.

• Flexibly expandable: additional pouches/modules can be added as needed. Even with accessories mounted, the pouch can be opened and closed easily thanks to the all-round, waterproof zip

Height-adjustable & shape-retaining

The SOS-BAG can be extended continuously at the lid – by up to approx. 20 cm in additional height. Integrated reinforcements keep its shape, even when the backpack is full or standing in the rain. 

This is important to us:

• More space when needed: extra room e.g. for clothing, shoes, jackets and personal items.

• Order & access: the stable shape prevents sagging – compartments remain accessible.

• Secure carrying: even load distribution, less wobble.

• Flexible in everyday life: can be pulled flat again with compression straps when carrying less luggage.

MOLLE system – endlessly expandable

The system offers MOLLE loops on both sides and on the back – allowing you to adapt the SOS-BAG to any situation. 

This is important to us:

• Examples (as shown in the image): radio/mobile phone holder on the front, large bottle holder on the side with securing straps, additional side pouches at the bottom – all securely lashed, quick to remove.

• Modular & secure: add-on products are woven in (not just clipped on) – rock-solid hold, no wobble.

• Compatible all round: the MOLLE grid follows the PALS standard (developed by the US military, used worldwide in professional settings). This means brands from all manufacturers fit – from radio holsters and first-aid packs to knife/tool sheaths.

• Quick to configure: frequently used items outside, heavy items inside – rebuild your setup in minutes.

• Grows with you: today radio & bottle, tomorrow spade, torch, glove holder, admin pouches – endless possibilities.
