The latex Foley long-term balloon catheter with silicone outer coating. – For medium-term urinary drainage: silcoat® catheters with a latex core, additionally coated inside and outside with silicone elastomer, offer good protection against encrustation at comparatively low cost. Significantly extended indwelling time compared with conventional latex catheters. Indwelling duration up to 1 week.
