The Pagasling gauze swabs are an indispensable aid in all medical areas. The wide range of swab sizes and the practical packaging units always enable indication-related and therefore economical use.
Application:
For haemostasis and wound cleansing, as well as for large-area skin disinfection.
Characteristics:
The Pagasling gauze swabs made of EN 14079-VM 20 dressing gauze, 20-thread, are manufactured from a single piece of gauze and are so firmly twisted that all cut edges are securely enclosed inside the swab. They have a high absorption capacity and are used for haemostasis and wound cleansing, as well as for large-area skin disinfection.
Characteristics:
A particularly effective two-layer nonwoven is used for the outer covering: the wound-contact layer made of hydrophobic polyamide fibres does not absorb any liquid itself and thus helps prevent adhesion to the wound. The inner side of the nonwoven made of hydrophilic cellulose fibres, on the other hand, has a high capillary action, which quickly channels secretions into the absorbent core.
Highly bleached tissue cellulose distributes the secretions so that the storage capacity of the absorbent core can be utilised more effectively.
The absorbent core made of soft cellulose fluff pulp has a high absorption capacity and a good cushioning effect.
A moisture-repellent but breathable layer of polypropylene nonwoven on the back of the dressing helps prevent strike-through of secretions and thus also serves as protection against contamination.
Zetuvit is sealed all around and is especially softly embossed at the ends. A blue thread marks the back of the dressing to prevent application errors.
