What Are Fresubin Energy Drinks?

Fresubin has long established itself as a high-calorie oral nutritional supplement. These drink packs, also known as astronaut food, are used wherever adequate nutrition through conventional food can no longer be ensured.  Fresubin drinks are also used in cases of malnutrition, debilitating medical conditions or increased energy requirements.

A Fresubin Energy Drink usually consists of 200 ml of liquid with an energy content of between 1.5 and 2 kcal per ml.  This means that even a small amount of liquid can compensate not only for a caloric deficit but also for nutritional deficiencies. The added vitamins and minerals contained in a Fresubin drink also contribute to this.

Fresubin drinks are available not only in a variety of flavours such as vanilla, cappuccino, lemon, forest fruit, multi-fruit, nut or chocolate, but also in different formulations and consistencies. Mixed cartons of the various flavours provide variety in daily intake, as each flavour of the range is included. This makes mixed cartons ideal for trying and tasting Fresubin drinks for the first time. The small drink bottles can be used both as a supplement and as a complete meal replacement.

Currently, you will find Fresubin drinks in three different variants in our range. In addition to the standard Fresubin Energy Drinks with 1.5 kcal/ml, we also offer Fresubin Protein Energy Drinks, which also provide 1.5 kcal/ml but additionally supply important protein through added protein content. The highest calorie content is provided by Fresubin 2kcal Drinks, which deliver 2.0 kcal/ml and, in the three flavours chocolate fibre, cappuccino fibre and lemon fibre, also supply beneficial dietary fibre to support digestion.
