This moulage shows the sacral area with a pressure ulcer in a surgically debrided condition. The necrotic tissue has been removed; wound pockets are present. The wound can be supplied either freshly cleaned or with wound exudate. Perfect for explaining and practising negative pressure wound therapy. The anal cleft helps illustrate typical challenges when applying dressings. The moulage adheres independently to simulation patients or mannequins, but for longer training sessions it can also be secured with special skin adhesive.
