What makes this breath and heart sound simulator (AHS) special is that learners can auscultate and hear the different sounds with a stethoscope. The instructor can choose from various auscultation findings for teaching. The simulator uses plug-in modules compiled from findings from real patients. Five loudspeakers are installed directly in the AHS training manikin Goldie. Two lights are also built in, which light up during expiration. The simulator is powered by a 9V battery

The breath sound module offers:
Tracheal, vesicular and bronchovesicular breathing, wheezing, monophonic wheeze, pleural rub, stridor, amphoric breathing, crackles, pulmonary oedema and puppy breathing.
