Senior Pressure Ulcer Foot
Chronic pressure ulcers mostly affect older people, which is why this Senior Pressure Ulcer Foot was developed to teach the cleaning and care of pressure ulcers at various stages. Pressure ulcers often occur at pressure points such as the heels, toe tips, between the toes, or anywhere bones protrude and can rub against socks, shoes or bed sheets.

This model shows all four stages:

- Stage I: On the underside of the toe; the skin surface is reddened
- Stage II: On the sole of the foot, below the toe; the surface is red and the damage extends into deeper layers of skin
- Stage III: On the side of the foot; the skin surface is red, the lesion appears more crater-like and extends to the lowest layer of skin
- Stage IV: On the heel. The skin is red; a larger amount of tissue is damaged, including muscle, bone, joint and ligaments.
