Colonoscopy Simulator
This colonoscopy simulator is a training model designed to learn and practise the handling of a colonoscope. It is made from special silicone which, in the examination area, feels like a living body. The colouring of the internal structures also closely resembles that of humans.
Features:
- For the purpose of identification and localisation, an artificial polyp can be placed in the ascending and descending colon.
- An LST (laterally spreading tumour) is depicted in the ascending colon.
With optional add-ons, endoscopic procedures can also be practised on this simulator, such as resection of a polyp and stopping bleeding, as well as introducing a balloon enteroscope into the small intestine.
