A highly lifelike replica of a newborn. Thanks to the use of special plastic, the skin feels very natural. The weighting corresponds to normal conditions. The anterior and posterior fontanelles as well as the coronal and sagittal sutures are carefully replicated and palpable. The head flops to the side if it is not held correctly. The spine and the movable testicles are palpable. The nasal cavity, oral cavity and stomach can be suctioned. Measuring body temperature can be practised in the 5 cm deep anal canal. Thanks to the completely seamless manufacture, the model is absolutely waterproof and can be used for bathing practice without concern. The umbilical stump allows demonstration and practice of umbilical care and is easy to remove. Use for demonstrating physiotherapy exercises (Vojta, Bobath) is very well possible thanks to the flexible arms and legs. Of course, general examinations such as measuring can also be practised. Putting on nappies and dressing can also be practised. Supplied in a storage bag.
