VALETUMED Prebiotic Antifusarium, 750 g
Prebiotic Antifusarium binds and inactivates some harmful mycotoxins through selectively acting adsorbents. Unlike conventional products, however, the innovative formula neutralises not only polar mycotoxins but also non-polar – and therefore non-bindable – mycotoxins. These are enzymatically broken down by organic components from yeast cultures and thereby inactivated. This can significantly relieve the horse’s organism.

In addition, the highly effective lactogen-fermented Jerusalem artichoke in Prebiotic Antifusarium, with its high inulin content, helps to promote the presence of bifidobacteria, thereby stimulating the immune system and supporting digestion. This can help regulate the gut and increase vitality.

Double efficacy in a unique combination: inactivation of polar and non-polar mycotoxins through patented adsorbents and organic components from yeast cultures, combined with a gut-regulating effect to reduce toxic metabolic products, increase vitality and strengthen immunity.

Directions for use: Mix approx. 30–50 g daily per large horse (approx. 500 kg live weight) into the concentrate feed ration, depending on the amount of feed. Recommended: approx. 12 g per kilogram of concentrate feed. Available only from authorised veterinarians and following their detailed feeding consultation.

VALETUMED Prebiotic E-Selen
Valetumed E-Selen supports the increased requirement for vitamin E and selenium, especially in sport and high-performance horses. Tension and hardening caused by a vitamin E deficiency can be improved, thereby optimising physical resilience, willingness to perform and so-called rideability. Selenium supports cell protection in particular. Both substances are required in a balanced ratio for the skeletal and heart muscles.

Practical tip: Adding Valetumed E-Selen to the daily concentrate/roughage ration over a longer period or all year round is possible without any problems and improves results.

In all sport and high-performance horses, the musculoskeletal system—especially the musculature—is exposed to the highest levels of strain. In doing so, the sensitive muscle fibres must be protected from destruction by harmful substances and supplied with sufficient oxygen and nutrients. The body can only fulfil these tasks if vitamin E, selenium and lysine are made available regularly.

Directions for use: Large horses (approx. 500 kg live weight) 30 g per day; for young horses and ponies 15 g per day, given with the feed. In cases of intense physical exertion, twice the amount may be administered. Due to the higher selenium content, the daily ration should not be increased by more than fourfold. To achieve optimal supply, the feeding period of Prebiotic E-Selen should be at least three weeks. The feeding period can be extended to up to 8 weeks before sporting exertion and up to 4 weeks after sporting exertion and improves results. Can only be obtained through authorised veterinarians and after their detailed feeding consultation.

Sources: http://www.valetumed.de/2.pdf

A vitamin E deficiency can lead to tension and stiffness as well as inflammation and degeneration of the musculature. Selenium is important for protecting cell membranes (free-radical scavenger) and is necessary for the function of glutathione peroxidase (breakdown of free radicals); in the case of selenium deficiency, impairment of the skeletal and heart muscles is possible.

Composition: Dextrose, Jerusalem artichoke.

Analytical constituents: 0.90% crude protein, 0.20% crude fibre, 1.10% crude oils and fats, 0.70% crude ash.

Additives per kg: Nutritional additives: 90,000 mg vitamin E (3a700), 5,400 mg L-lysine, 22.50 mg selenium (sodium selenite) (E8).

Notes: Store hygienically, cool and dry. Protect from sunlight. No liability in the event of improper storage.

VALETUMED SangroXX
Sangro XX is a combination of various plant extracts that can help to soften and restore suppleness to hardened areas of skin. The gel is not only an effective and natural alternative for supporting the healing process in the treatment of equine sarcoids through its skin-care properties. Warts – often the first signs of equine sarcoids – can also be treated.

Practical tip: The first signs of an equine sarcoid are usually skin changes that often appear in the form of small warts or as clearly defined circular, hairless and scaly patches. The warts may be raised above the skin, but can also lie under the skin covered by hair. Affected patients can be found among horses of all ages and breeds. In most cases, the sarcoid is only a cosmetic problem, but if located unfavourably (saddle area) it can also make the horse unrideable. A sarcoid can grow rapidly and reach the size of a fist. It is therefore recommended to begin treatment as soon as the first signs of an equine sarcoid appear.

Directions for use: Apply to the affected areas of skin 2–3 times daily and carefully remove dead tissue gradually. Do not use on open wounds. For external use only.

Composition: Macleaya cordata extract, herbal extract, aloe vera extract, plant stem cell extracts, beta glucan, biotin, glycerine, propanediol, micro silver.

Notes: Store in a hygienic manner in a cool, dry place. Protect from sunlight. No liability in the event of improper storage.
