megro GmbH & Co. KG is a German wholesaler of medical products and medical technology based in Wesel (North Rhine-Westphalia). The company was founded in 1972 and has since been a partner to specialist medical technology retailers, medical practices, medical supply stores and medical facilities in Germany and abroad.

Business model and areas of activity

As a medical technology wholesaler and logistics partner, megro distributes an extensive range of more than 25,000 items from the portfolios of over 300 suppliers. The portfolio includes products such as pen needles, dressing materials, practice and organisational supplies, protective and diagnostic items, as well as other medical consumables and aids.

Own brands and products

In addition to third-party brands, megro also markets its own brands such as Ratiomed®, megro®, SOFT line, MEDI-WOOD®, Meditemp® and Steri-Peel-Pack®, which offer an attractive price-performance ratio.

Logistics and customer service

The company operates its own logistics centre in Wesel, from which orders are processed efficiently and quickly. Orders received by the afternoon are typically dispatched on the same day, enabling timely supply to customers.

Certifications and quality

megro is certified to the DIN EN ISO 13485 quality management system and holds a wholesale authorisation in accordance with Section 52a AMG (Medicinal Products Act) as well as GDP certification (Good Distribution Practice), confirming compliance with high standards in the trade and distribution of medical products.
