The wrap-around blanket from ORGATERM replaces the old wool blanket that always slips off, as a horizontal loop strip and four longitudinal hook-and-loop strips prevent slipping. The blanket is suitable for both manual wheelchairs as well as powered wheelchairs and scooters. The wrap-around blanket is made from robust, water- and windproof nylon material. A faux-fur lining provides warmth. For hygiene, the blanket can simply be machine-washed at 30°C. The blanket is available in various colours and sizes.

The Orgaterm Standard leg cover blanket is made of waterproof and windproof nylon fabric and is lined on the inside with navy-coloured woven faux fur. A Velcro loop in the hip area ensures an optimal fit. It features a silver-coloured reflective strip in the knee area. The leg cover blanket is made in a universal adult size.

Medical sheepskin heel protectors. The heel protectors protect the heels from pressure and impacts. Easy to put on thanks to Velcro fasteners.

Medical sheepskin is natural like our own skin because it is made up of identical building blocks. The fleece is breathable, temperature-balancing and moisture-regulating; it is also supple, elastic, hard-wearing and highly tear-resistant.
An important property of wool, which it shares with many natural proteins, is its ability to bind and neutralise acids, alkalis and other chemicals as well as odours. Wool ensures a pleasant microclimate and protection against internal and external pollutants; sweat from inside and, for example, sulphur dioxide from outside are bound. Medical sheepskin has a pleasant natural warmth and never feels cold – even when damp.

The fleece relieves body and muscle tension and promotes circulation in connective tissue and muscles. Thanks to the unique structure of the wool fibre, medical sheepskin also acts as a thermostat and hydrostat; it is comfortable on hot summer days as well as in the cold season. Regardless of the outside temperature, the fleece provides even, dry warmth of approx. 28°C.

Always wash the fleece separately. The fleece may be washed at max. 30°C on a gentle cycle in the washing machine or by hand. Wash only with a special sheepskin detergent (e.g. our Orgaterm Biological Sheepskin Detergent). To speed up drying, when hand-washing, squeeze out most of the rinse water, or when machine-washing, spin the fleece at low speed. Never dry with heat or in direct sunlight. Dry slowly and, during drying, repeatedly pull the leather side of the fleece over an edge, e.g. the edge of a table or the back of a chair, to make it soft and supple again.

The Artic-Fleece footmuff is made from a waterproof and windproof outer fabric and can be ordered in many different colour combinations (see page 26). The soft fleece inner lining, backed with thermal wadding, provides the user with optimum seating comfort and excellent protection against unpleasant weather conditions.

- It is cut in the usual anatomical body shape.

Information:
The polyester pile contains a high proportion of continuously renewed air. The constant circulation of air ensures the removal of body moisture and maintains a consistent temperature and a healthy, dry lying surface. This underlay guarantees optimum climatic conditions in all seasons. The surface pressure of the body is distributed extremely favourably by the hollow fibre. Pressure-related disturbances of blood circulation are effectively prevented through pressure relief. This creates an additional regulation of oxygen supply.

Properties: hard-wearing, soft, therefore no chafing effect, anti-allergenic and skin-friendly, safe and hygienic.

Rain Cape

This rain cape is made from lightweight waterproof blue nylon fabric and features a hood with side viewing windows. The cape is available with or without sleeves. There is a chest pocket on the front of the cape. Back and bottom open.

Rehab buggy footmuff
The children’s footmuff is designed for use in rehab buggies.
The back of the footmuff is fitted with leather slots which can be cut to size for the harness system as required. The buggy footmuff is anatomically shaped and features an all-round zip, allowing the top part to be completely separated from the footmuff. The wind- and waterproof nylon outer material provides optimum protection against the elements.
The zip flap prevents rain and cold from penetrating.

The footmuff is available in the following three lining fabrics:

- a lightweight, curly cotton teddy lining (navy and beige)
- a soft, snug Arctic fleece lining (grey, red and yellow) with an additional thermal wadding layer
- or a wool fleece lining (anthracite) with a high percentage of pure virgin wool, including an additional thermal wadding layer
