With the MT10 you can detect middle ear infections (a major cause of temporary or permanent hearing loss in children), a perforated eardrum, cholesteatoma and certain neurological disorders. You can also check ventilation tubes (grommets) and monitor medical treatments.
Ipsilateral acoustic reflex: Four different reflex tests per ear can be performed at 500, 1,000, 2,000 and 4,000 Hz, using either a fixed or automatic intensity selection. The test is performed at the correct pressure level and the actual reflex characteristics are displayed on the screen so the operator can view and interpret them.
30 patients in memory: The MT10 can store test results for up to 30 patients. This makes it possible to assess a large group of patients and print out the data at a later time.
