Holthaus Medical was founded in 1924 by Fritz Holthaus and has been family-owned ever since. The foundation for what is still the company’s main business today was the switch to producing gauze bandages. Production continued to develop steadily and today includes many types of dressing materials that are distributed worldwide.

Holthaus Medical GmbH and Co. KG has been manufacturing Wundverbände and other Verbandmaterial of the highest quality since 1924. Thanks to the company’s many years of broad expertise, products from Holthaus are among the best-known and most widely used brands of medical consumables.

Dressing materials and more for emergencies

Holthaus Medical mainly manufactures Verbandmittel , but there are also a number of other interesting items in the Holthaus product range. For example, Zeichen und Schilder in the Notfallcategory, which in an emergency point to specific assembly points or indicate various obligations for personal protection. However, these items make up a much smaller part of the portfolio; the largest share is, of course, dressing materials. A – in this case truly rather small – highlight in the range is the YPSISAVE sterile dressing packs.
