HEINE Beta 200 S Ophthalmoscope head without handle
The dust-tight design protects the precision optics and allows maintenance-free use. The BETA 200 S ophthalmoscope features an aluminium support element. The optical components are integrated flush into a frame made of cast aluminium, preventing decentration and making the instrument resistant to impact. The BETA 200 S LED has an LED with an almost unlimited service life (up to 100,000 hours), no lamp replacement required. - HEINE’s “Aspherical Optical System” (AOS) eliminates reflections, optimises the usable illumination on the fundus and thus provides a large, bright and high-contrast retinal image. - the standard in LED illumination delivers absolutely homogeneous and bright light with true colour rendering for precise diagnosis. Red is red, blue is blue. Colour temperature 3500K, colour rendering index (CRI) >97, specially for reds (R9) >93 with a scale maximum of 100 - the LED illumination is precisely matched to the optical system and, in combination, delivers very bright and uniform illumination for reliable diagnosis - the BETA 200 S ophthalmoscope has a Rekoss disc with 28 single lenses that prevents higher refractive deviations; 74 one-dioptre steps on the non-continuous lens wheel avoid extreme dioptre jumps - 7 apertures (blue filter, fixation star with polar coordinates, large circle, medium circle, MicroSpot, slit, semi-circle) with separately switchable interference red-free filter - continuous brightness control between 100% and 3% with one-finger operation - no stray light thanks to the recessed, multi-coated viewing window - precise one-handed operation of the instrument: the ergonomic design offers flexibility during examination - can be used for both dilated and undilated pupils - the ergonomic shape fits comfortably against the orbit and shields ambient light - full functionality of the BETA 200 S LED is ensured with the current BETA rechargeable handles and the EN 100 wall unit
