In developing this lifelike replica of a human skull, a real human skull was digitised using state-of-the-art technology and then idealised specifically for medical training purposes. This means the skull has been perfectly adapted to the anatomical ideal; all anatomical details and structures are present and correspond to the textbook. The 3-part model consists of the cranial base, calvaria (skullcap) and mandible. The teeth correspond to a real set of teeth in terms of alignment and interdental spaces. The mandible is mounted in a movable way and is removable. The calvaria is aligned to the cranial base using unbreakable metal pins and is held in place by strong magnets, so no annoying hooks are required, no pins can break, and no gap forms between the cranial base and calvaria. ERLERZIMMER Vaccination Trainer strap-on for IM and subcutaneous injection
This trainer enables practice of intramuscular injection, as typically performed during vaccination, for example. The model can be used as a vaccination trainer, but also as a standard IM injection trainer as well as a subcutaneous injection trainer.

The trainer can be strapped on and then simulates a human upper arm. Simulated and easily palpable shoulder anatomy serves as a landmark for injection. The back of the trainer is puncture-resistant, so there is no danger for the "patient".

Injection can be performed using standard needles and syringes, and injecting fluid is possible. The model can be dismantled, so that the fluid can easily be removed again after practice.

Thanks to the innovative material, the arm feels lifelike and the puncture sites are not visible, allowing many hundreds of punctures before the vaccination trainer needs to be replaced.

The history of the family business begins in 1950 in Lauf, Baden-Württemberg, when Johannes Erler founded the company. A short time later, his son-in-law Walter Zimmer joined him.
